Had lunch at Rokutsuki in Asakusabashi and really enjoyed it! I tried their Special Pork Paitan Ramen (¥1,250) — it comes with a rich and creamy pork paitan soup, three kinds of chashu (shoulder loin, belly, and smoked thigh), a smoked soft-boiled egg, wonton, and menma (fermented bamboo shoots). The soup is smooth and flavorful without being too heavy, and the noodles — made in-house with roasted wheat germ — have a really nice aroma and texture. You can tell everything is made with care. The pork shoulder loin chashu was my favorite — perfectly tender and juicy. The portion was satisfying, and the balance of flavors felt just right. The restaurant is cozy with friendly staff, and it’s only two stops from Asakusa Station, so it’s super convenient if you’re visiting the area.

This ramen was my favorite so far! The egg was the most delicious I’ve ever had in ramen… and the meat was insanely tasty. The pork shoulder was perfect, not overcooked at all. I even drank all the broth! It’s a shame I live far from Tokyo - otherwise, I would come here every day.
